Proceedures to open a claim and reimbursement from the department of L&I follow strict guidelines regarding the number of initial visits allowed, progress reports, and requests for additional visits.
All work Related Injuries are treated under the guidelines of Medical Massage Therapy.
Individuals who have been Injured-On-The-Job, who want to open a claim, are required to report the circumstances and injury to their employeer. It is a best practice to always report an injury to your employer even if no claim will be opened to allow your employeer the ability to correct any hazard conditions.
